Professional certification for those who sell and serve beer. The Cicerone® Certification Program certifies and educates beer professionals. The program offers 4 levels of certification, starting with Certified Beer Server, Certified Cicerone®, Advanced Cicerone™ and the top level of Master Cicerone®. The exams cover five basic components: 1) keeping and serving beer; 2) beer styles; 3) flavor and tasting; 4) brewing process and ingredients; and 5) beer and food pairing. Since 2008, the program has certified nearly 65,000 Beer Professionals.
